International Rugby League will have its own weekly podcast throughout the end of season international window, and it will be hosted by Michael Carbone, the current host of the popular Chasing Kangaroos podcast.
The programme will be released every Wednesday starting on October 16th and will cover all the hot topics relating to international rugby league. The first programme will feature RLIF Global Operations Manager, Danny Kazandjian together with guests from around the world who will be attending the annual RLIF Congress.
Speaking about the opportunity to host this new podcast, Michael Carbone said;
“I am so pleased and excited to have this opportunity. I started the Chasing Kangaroos podcast to simply promote my great passion for international rugby league. It was basically me and a couple of mates and people seemed to like it. Over the past few months we have built up a loyal and knowledgeable audience and now we get the chance to work alongside the international federation to discuss and dissect all the amazing international events that will be played over October and November.”
Each week Michael will host a 40-minute programme which will feature guests in the studio and also from far afield. It will cover the RLIF Downer World Cup 9’s, the Oceania Cup, the Great Britain Rugby League Lions tour, RLWC2021 Qualifications matches in Europe and the USA as well as the women’s and wheelchair games that are scheduled.
The podcast will be available each Wednesday from the usual podcast providers and will run from October 16th to November 20th, 2019
