Hosts Samoa will play Cook Islands in first game of Women's Pacific Games Rugby League

The draw has been made for the Pacific Games Women’s Rugby League competition which will be played at the Apia Stadium in Samoa on July 8th and 9th. This will be the first time that women’s rugby league has featured as a medal event.

 

The competition, which features teams from Cook Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Niue and Samoa is organised into two pools of three with the top two teams in each pool progressing to the semi-finals and the winners progressing to the gold medal game.
