This October HKRL will compete in the Emerging Nations World Championship in Sydney along with ten other teams. Hong Kong start their campaign against Poland on 4 October in what will be the first ever clash between the two nations. The Hong Kong team is primarily made up of domestic players who play in the HKRL 9s and the summer Super League - a fact we're very proud of. The game in HK is run and played by volunteers and we need your help to further succeed on the international stage. Watch the video created by staunch HK sports supporters More Chaos to hear from captain Ringo Lung and players Hogan Toomalatai, Richard Lindsay and Mike Tsang on what it means to represent Hong Kong. And what a story Mike Tsang has, orphaned in Hong Kong, brought up in New Zealand and now only a few weeks away from representing the country of his birth - a man of dedication and commitment.

The fantastic growth of tag rugby sees Hong Kong send two teams to the International Tag World Cup at Coffs Harbour. Hong Kong will be entering teams into the mixed open and men's open age categories - a great achievement for the fledgling sport. Like their rugby league counterparts, the taggers are self funding their participation and are looking for supporters. Emailinfo@hktag.org if you would like to get involved. The Tag World Cup takes places between 1-4 November.
